Pav Athwal is General Counsel and Head of Compliance at LILT, an AI startup, where he leads legal, compliance, privacy, and risk strategy across the business. He has 25 years of experience advising organizations from large enterprises to high-growth startups, including Raytheon, DocuSign, Juniper Networks, and Nexthink, and previously ran his own technology law practice. He focuses on artificial intelligence, data governance, and complex technology transactions, and regularly advises executives and boards on various issues. Pav teaches Technology Licensing at Santa Clara University School of Law (alum), is a UC Davis graduate, and serves on the boards of several nonprofit and commercial organizations.
